Kellie Edwards

Beerwah Director & Nominated Supervisor

Wunya! My name is Kellie, and I am the Director (Nominated Supervisor) at Bella Grace Beerwah.

I was fortunate to begin my journey in early childhood education after I left high school in 2001. I worked my way from a Cert III trainee to an apprentice studying my Diploma before I joined Bella Grace in 2008.

In 2010, I travelled around Australia, Europe, and New Zealand where I worked in many different child related industries. I was immersed in local and foreign cultures and was involved in many ways to support early childhood development. When I arrived back in Australia in 2016, I settled in my hometown of Beerwah. I felt an overwhelming desire to get back to my roots, share my knowledge and educate children using our wonderful country and environments as the basis to their learning.

Through my dedication to deliver high quality programs, I was offered the position as an educational leader/mentor to all the Bella Grace services for 3 years.   The mentor role drove my passion to connect with children, families and educators and opened my eyes to the importance of our community for foundation learning.

In 2021 I stared my journey as Director of our Beerwah centre, creating opportunities to further develop my connection to the local community and give back to the town that was my home growing up.

I am excited to see the continued growth of the Beerwah community and look forward to supporting all families as part of our village.
